About Brooks Wuerdemann
| Brooks Wuerdemann’s broad background informs a nuanced perspective on healing and whole-person care. His study of Chinese medicine was sparked in 1992 when he began studying Qiqong, which continued as a lifelong appreciation for transformation as a force for growth and change. Brooks earned a Master of Acupuncture from Tai Sophia Institute (2012), a Medical Qigong Practitioner Certificate under Dr. Lisa VanOstrand (2012), a Master of Oriental Medicine from Maryland University of Integrative Health (2015), and a Doctor of Chinese Energetic Medicine certificate from The Temple of Change and Transformation (2024). He also completed Chinese Dietary Studies with Andrew Sterman (2020–2021). From 2013 to 2017, Brooks taught in the Acupuncture and Nutrition programs as Adjunct Faculty at Maryland University of Integrative Health, and he currently teaches through Elements of Life Institute. In 2021, he was ordained a Priest of Christian Mystical Arts through The Temple of Change and Transformation, weaving his spiritual practice into his clinical work. Brooks approaches each patient as a whole person—physical, emotional, and spiritual—whose needs influence one another and can be supported through both treatment and education. |
